ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Virginia Murphy Barton Worley, 88, formerly of Warsaw, died Aug. 3, 2009, in her residence in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Carl Barton and Harold Worley.
She enjoyed 27 years of retirement from General Electric.
Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Hess, Marana, Ariz.; a son, Harold Barton, LaGrange; two sisters, Dorothy Murphy and Evelyn Brickley, both of Ft. Wayne; two granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister and a granddaughter.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 31, in Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton
Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
