NORTH MANCHESTER - Virginia G. Butrin, 91, of North Manchester, died at 11:43 p.m. July 5, 2009, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born Aug. 8, 1917, in Richmond, Va., to Thomas J. Sr. and Virginia Cudlipp Ogburn. On July 6, 1946, she married Charles T. Butrin, who survives.
She was a college professor from Grand Rapids School of the Bible & Music and a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester.
Also surviving are two daughters, Beverly (and spouse Jerry) McCoy, Winona Lake, and Patti (and spouse Peter) Dolan, Kentwood, Mich.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters and four brothers.
A memorial service will be at a later date at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, Grandville, Mich. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2894 Patterson SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
No calling is planned.
