She was born Sept. 1, 1927, to Clarence E. and Mary L. Wiles Faust in Noblesville. On April 21, 1946, she married Robert T. Kiphart, who died on June 7, 1973. She married Ray Bockman on Sept. 27, 1974, who proceeded her in death on May 6, 2004. She lived in Madison county, mainly Pendleton for 48 years of her life.

She graduated from Pendleton High School with the Class of 1945. While living in Pendleton, she belonged to Ladies Auxillary of the Pendleton fire department. She was also a lifetime member of Eastern Star #138 in Pendleton. She retired after 10 years, moving to Warsaw, and was office manager for Rayco Steel Process Company, which Ray Bockman owned.

Most of all, Mom loved her sons and grandchildren. We had many wonderful Christmas celebrations at her house!

She also loved to crochet, sew and paint. One special joy for her was making personalized birthday cards for her loved ones. She loved to cook and was “famous” for her yeast rolls and cream puffs. She was a very generous lady and contributed to many organizations, as well as the First Christian Church. Her ragdoll cat named Coco was her beloved companion for 18 years.

She is survived by five sons: Steve (Sandy), Jeff (Jana), Robert (Barbara) and Rory (Becky) Kiphart, all of Warsaw; and Rodney Kiphart, of Anderson; grandchildren: Matthew Kiphart, of Warsaw; Elodie Ray Kiphart, of Strasbourg, France; Meghann (Kyle) Wyman, of Warsaw; Kyle (Fiance Alyssa Ashton) Kiphart, of Leesburg; Leah (Tom) Green-Whitehead, of Fishers; Zachary (Bobbi) Kiphart, of Anderson; Brenden (Sara) Kiphart, of Mentone; Amanda (Steve) Kiphart and Rachael (Nick) Kiphart, both of Lombard, Ill.; stepgrandchildren: Samantha (Daniel) Harshman, of Roann; Desiree (Chad) Griepentrog, Warsaw; Hans (Autumn) Griepentrog, Warsaw; Brittany (Ryan) Griepentrog, of Arizona; Taylor (Axel) Rizzo, of Warsaw; Blake, Logan and Whitney Pilcher, of North Webster; seven great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren; stepdaughters: Debra Aalbregtse, of Warsaw; Sharon Thompson, of Frisco, Colo.; and Sandra Bockman, of Cape Cod, Mass.; a sister-in-law, Jenette Bockman, of North Webster; several nieces and nephews and her loving, wonderful sister, Eve Bevelhimer, of Warsaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ross Kiphart; a brother, Joel Faust; a sister-in-law, Frances Faust; and an aunt, Rae Williams, of Ripley, Tenn., and her companion, Coco.

A very special thanks to Jeff and Jana Kiphart who moved in with Mom so she could be at home. Also to the Promedica Hospice team from Fort Wayne: Linda, Savannah, Forrest and all for the special care they gave to mom and her family. Also to Barbara Rowley who set with mom when needed.
