HERNDON, Va. – Virginia Marie Logue, 86, died Oct. 22, 2012, in Arlington, Va. She was born July 31, 1926, in Fort Wayne, to Luke Conklin and June Amber Wells Shorter. In 1950, she married John Edward Logue, who died May 28, 2012. She graduated from South Side High School in 1944 and worked at Lincoln Life Insurance Co. and the Allen County Clerk's Office. She moved to Warsaw in 1957 and lived there until 1966. For the past 36 years, she resided in Virginia. She was active in several organizations, including Tri Kappa, Warsaw, and Welcome Wagon, Springfield, Va. Surviving are a sister, Sheila Shorter, Fort Wayne; two sons, John Richard (and spouse Loretta) Logue, Moorpark, Calif., and David (and spouse Jennifer) Logue, Quincy, Mass.; a daughter, Susan (and spouse Kevin) Koster, Woodbridge, Va.; and three grandchildren.
