Viola M. Fletcher, 81, of Warsaw, died at 12:47 a.m. June 18, 2008, in Parkview Whitley County Hospital, Columbia City.

She was born March 24, 1927, in Pierceton, to Ora Edward and Pearl Jane Copeland Priser. She formerly was married to Lloyd J. "Bud" Fletcher.

She lived most of her life in Warsaw, and worked at Fletcher Grocery Store.

Surviving are a son, Michael (and spouse Carol) Fletcher, Warsaw; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Rose (and spouse Robert) Lockridge, Eva Freeman and Louise (and spouse Bill) Coldren, all of Warsaw, and Beverly (and spouse Robert) Hoffer, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by a son, Shannon M. Fletcher, who died Feb. 21, 1998; five brothers, Kenny, Joe, Charles, Jim and Ora Jr. Priser; and three sisters, Marie Priser, Marjorie Moore and Joann Priser.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Denny Bollenbacher, chaplain at Mason Health & Rehab, officiating.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
