DENVER — The Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team posted its seventh-straight win Thursday night, defeating North Miami 52-46 in Denver.
The win leaves Valley at 13-3 overall and 5-1 in Three Rivers Conference action, with their final conference game taking place Saturday at home against Rochester. Junior varsity tipoff will be at noon.
In Thursday night’s TRC contest, Valley junior Nick Kindig and North Miami senior Ty Musselman each netted 15 points.
Valley sophomore Tanner Andrews also finished with 13 points, while junior teammate Jacob Ritchey had nine. Thursday in Bremen The Class 1A No. 5 Triton boys basketball team picked up a 60-46 Northern State Conference victory at Bremen Thursday night. The win leaves Triton with an overall record of 14-4 and 5-1 in the NSC, tied with LaVille. Triton’s final conference game is Feb. 24 at home against Knox (4-13, 2-4 NSC), while LaVille still has a conference game at Jimtown (3-12, 1-4 NSC) slated for the same day. Before returning to conference action, Triton travels to Rochester Tuesday and Tippecanoe Valley on Feb. 17. Thursday in Fulton The Manchester boys basketball team dropped a 64-39 decision at Caston Thursday night. In defeat, Manchester was led by senior Logan Brunn’s 13 points. The 3-13 Manchester Squires host Whitko Saturday afternoon for their final Three Rivers Conference game of the season. Thursday in Syracuse Hosting Elkhart Central Thursday night, the Wawasee gymnastics team lost 98.8-94.1. Elkhart Central’s Holly Lehman was the top performer of the night, scoring an all-around score of 36.0, winning all four events, while Wawasee’s Emily Allen was second with a 31.75 score.
