Vikings Sweep Manchester In TRC Swim MeetAKRON – Tippecanoe Valley swimmers swept a Three Rivers Conference swimming meet from visiting Manchester Wednesday night. The Lady Vikings won 91-67 and the boys team took a 111-44 decison over the Squires. Olivia Livengood was a double winner for the Lady Vikings, taking the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly. Other winners for Tippecanoe Valley were Blake McBrier in the 200 freestyle, Tiphanie Hodge in the diving, Kinzie Prater in the 100 free, Mayde Fear in the 100 backstroke, Grace Revere in the 100 breaststroke, and the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams. Winners for Manchester were Skye Fierstos in the 50 free, Tahnee Fuentes in the 500 free, and the 200 freestyle relay team. The Viking boys won all 12 events contested. Jacob Wagner won twice, in the 200 and 500 freestyle races, and Chase Brower was a double winner in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke. Other winners were Dakota Prater in the 200 IM, Camden Tucker in the 50 free, Travis Shull in the diving, Daniel Alexander in the 100 butterfly, and Mason Stephens in the 100 breaststroke. Manchester will host Elwood in a non-conference meet on Monday. Tippecanoe Valley will not compete again until after the holidays, taking on Huntington North at Warsaw on Jan. 4.
