Vikings, Lady Squires Each Third At TRC Meet

BUNKER HILL – Manchester’s girls and Tippecanoe Valley’s boys each finished third in the Three Rivers Conference Swimming meet Saturday at Maconaquah.
The Lady Vikings finished fifth, as did the Manchester boys. Rochester won the girls team title, and Maconaquah the boys title.
Tippecanoe Valley’s Chase Brower was third in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 100 backstroke. Tyler Ross was fourth in the 50 free, and Daniel Alexander was fifth in the 100 butterfly.
The Lady Vikings’ Katie Gunter was third in the 100 butterfly, and Lea Stouder was fifth in the 100 breaststroke.
Manchester’s Allison Smith was fourth in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 backstroke. Alexis Vernon was third in the 100 breaststroke.
The Squire swim teams will host Fort Wayne Canterbury on Wednesday. Tippecanoe Valley‘s boys team hosts Plymouth on Wednesday.
