If skies are clear, members of the Warsaw Astronomical Society will have telescopes set up on the south end of the Wal-Mart parking lot Friday starting at 8:30 p.m.
If Friday night is cloudy, then the WAS will set up Saturday night if it is clear. The WAS will provide a live view of the moon, Saturn and Venus. If the atmosphere is steady, viewers will be able to see craters on the moon, the magnificent rings of Saturn, and the nearly full phase of Venus. This event is to raise public awareness of local astronomical activities and to celebrate National Astronomy Day Saturday.
