WABASH – Vickie Lynn Harvey, 58, rural Claypool, died at 3 p.m. Feb. 8, 2016, at her home.
She was born April 11, 1957, in Fort Myers, Fla., to Billy Ray Bragg and Imogene Wade Arone. On Sept. 19, 2009, in Claypool, she married Kit W. Harvey, who survives in Claypool.
She attended Sarasota County Technical Institute in Sarasota, Fla. She was a licensed practical nurse for 20 years and worked as a LPN for South Bend Memorial Hospital Home Healthcare the past 10 years.
She was a member of the Humane Society of America, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and a member of ABATE. She enjoyed crafts and rescuing animals. She lived in the Claypool area since 2002, but spent most of her life in Venice, Fla.
Also surviving are her mother, Imogene Arone, Claypool; five children: Rebecca Atwell and Keandra Williams, both of Claypool; William “Bill” Kelley, Jamestown, N.Y.; Derrick (and spouse Celeste) Hebert, Simpsonville, S.C.; and Olivia “Libby” Hebert, Madison, Ind.; her sister, Christine Roe, Lima, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Bragg; and her sister, Gwendolyn Amstutz.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash.
