NORTH MANCHESTER – Vicente Soto, 60, of North Manchester, died at 11:35 p.m. Oct. 7, 2011, in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Chinpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico, to Simplicio and Sabina Soto. He married Celia Saucedo, who survives in Mexico.
He worked at Midwest Poultry, North Manchester.
Surviving are three sons, Saul Soto (and Kim Skeens), Ismael Soto (and Jessy Martinez), all of North Manchester, and Roberto Carlos Soto, Mexico City, Mexico; a daughter, Guadalupe Cabral, Mexico City; four brothers, Jose Soto, Mexico, and Demetrio, Santiago and Alcelmo Soto, all of Texas; two sisters, Maria Soto, Mexico, and Linda Soto, Texas; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Fernando Jimenez officiating. Calling is from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
