Marlise Shaffer led a Veterans Day program Nov. 9 at Warsaw Christian School that honored veterans from the U.S. military. Eighteen veterans were present as each class honored them by reciting poetry or narration, singing patriotic songs and acknowledging past and present veterans for their service and sacrifice for the country’s freedom. More than 150 people attended the program, which highlighted photos of friends and relatives who had served in various military branches from World War II to the present.
