Editor, Times-Union: Another year has past, another Veterans Day to celebrate, but over 8,000 heroes, men and women veterans, will not be able to celebrate. Over 22 men and women have committed suicide every day this past year. Was there a time that we could have saved just one? Our heroes have come back to us broken in spirit, have we become blind to our heroes? They have fought to keep America safe and free. Can we do more than say “Thanks for your service”?
