Editor, Times-Union: I want to say what a great letter that Bob Burris wrote that was in the Nov. 8 Times-Union paper. I also have had some relatives that were in World War I and they had it very hard, but never once did I?ever hear them complain about being in the thick of battle. We need to thank all of these men and women who served for the privilege we got to enjoy on Nov. 8 to vote. I don’t know how everyone voted, but they had a free choice, which so many in this world do not. I also want to say what an outstanding program the American Legion Post 49 Veterans Day program was. They had some excellent music provided by Warsaw Community High School band and thought-inspiring speakers. There was a nice crowd of people there, but there was room for many more. We owe so much to our veterans and we should honor them every chance we get. Thank you from my heart. William G. “Jerry” Frush Warsaw
