Just received my April Legion Magazine and almost fell off my chair when I saw the article on page 59.
It's about the embassy expenditure. Am betting this may well be the most expensive embassy in the world. Who is responsible for this outlandish project? Is it Bush, Congress or some wild bureaucracy?
I think perhaps one of Saddam's many palaces would have filled the bill. Costing us poor old taxpayers 592 million to build and 1.2 billion per year to operate is absolute lunacy.
