Velma Louise Stahly, 96, of Warsaw, died at 9 p.m. Dec. 23, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born May 29, 1916, in Kosciusko County to Calvin Orval and Maggie Mae Hahn Stahly. She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. She was formerly employed by Wilts Cedar Chest, Syracuse, Ball Band Manufacturing, Mishawaka, and Korth Furniture, Warsaw. She attended the Church of the Nazarene, Warsaw, and First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County, Claypool. Surviving are one son, James (and spouse Sharon) Stahly, Warsaw; seven grandchildren: Mike (and spouse Pam) Stahly, Warsaw, Shelly (and spouse Mark) Aker, Leesburg, Jason Stahly, Warsaw, Duane (and spouse Patty) Davis, Greenfield, Greg (and spouse Tonya) Davis, Pierceton, Jennifer (and spouse Steve) Lease Cole, Fort Myers, Fla., Dale (and spouse Krista) Davis, Seattle, Wash.; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Raymond Stahly, and four sisters: Isabel Ringler, Fern Blough, Wilma Hadner and Gladys Riggens. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
