NAPPANEE – Velma J. Tillotson, 66, of Bourbon, died at 8:39 p.m. May 9, 2013, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born May 11, 1946, in Kentucky, to John and Opal Bentley Sexton. She had lived in the area most of her life and worked at Tillotson’s Pet Furniture. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church, Nappanee. Surviving are two daughters, Debra (and spouse James) Dawson, Bourbon, and Patty (and spouse Robert) Vaile, Etna Green; a son, Tim (and spouse Tonia) Tillotson, Bourbon; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Miller and Edna (and spouse Earl) Scarberry, both of Bourbon, and Sharon (and spouse Randy) Fisher, Nappanee; a brother, John Ernest (and spouse Kathy) Sexton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. May 18 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
