Police are investigating the shootings early Sunday of two vehicles and a building near Barbee Lake.
An employee of Explorer Van Co. and Lucinda Porter of Candy Cane Lane, Cromwell, both reported gunshot damage to vehicles parked on North Barbee Road.
The demo van from Explorer was struck on the side, just in front of the front tire. Porter's vehicle sustained a bullet hole in a rear window.
Three bullet holes were found in the larger plate glass window of Jot-Em-Down Store on North Barbee Road, where the damage also extended to a neon sign and a window blind.
Several people reported hearing "pops" about 4:30 a.m. and the damages were found later.
An owner of the damaged store said she saw a light-colored older model car westbound from the area after hearing the gunshots.
Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to call the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department at 257-5667.
