PIERCETON – Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident Sunday afternoon on Ind. 13. Christopher J. Carter, 23, Alexandria, told deputies that he was falling asleep while driving south on Ind. 13 north of Ryerson Road. Carter over-corrected, left the east side of the road and came to rest in a creek after striking a telephone junction box. Carter declined treatment on scene. Multi-Township EMS and Pierceton Fire Department assisted.
