Vasantha Methuselah, 76,  Warsaw, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 10:40 a.m. Dec. 8, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Oct. 9, 1939, in Kakinada, India, to Samuel and Nava Devanandam Rogers. On May 16, 1962, in India, she was united in marriage to Mani Methuselah, who preceded her in death April 25, 2009.
She moved to Warsaw in 1968 to attend graduate school. She received her degree in finance and was a teacher in India. She had a heart for missions and children and gave her life in service to the Lord by working with both. She attended Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Samuel (and spouse Amy) Methuselah, Denver, Colo., and Dr. Daniel Methuselah, Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Phebe Methuselah, Portage, Mich.; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Ana and Sarah; two brothers, Enoch (and spouse Kamala) Rogers, San Francisco, Calif., and Moses (and spouse Sheila) Rogers, Turlock, Calif.; and a sister, Beulah (and spouse Suvarna) Rao, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Erik Ohman and Pastor Rob Harrison officiating. A private graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the church.
