Charges are pending against four juveniles and an adult male in connection with a rash of vandalisms in the Mentone/Burket area.
The three males reportedly confessed their involvement to police, but the two females have not yet been interviewed.
The vandalism included cutting vehicle tires, including that of a school bus that also sustained a broken window while parked at a residence on Beaver Dam Road, near Mentone. Also, a camper parked on Lakeshore Drive at Palestine Lake was tipped onto its side.
The incidents took place in the early morning hours Saturday.
Tires also were slashed on a vehicle at a residence on South CR 600W, three other vehicles in the Palestine Lake area, four vehicles at the Burket Trailer Court, three vehicles on South Scott Road, Claypool, and two vehicles at a residence on South Buffalo Street, Burket.
Also, pumpkins were smashed and a mailbox removed from a Beaver Dam Road residence.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, at least 14 people have made reports thus far. The total number of victims is unknown.
