MENTONE — Framework should be up at the new Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. administration and day care building next month, said TVSC Superintendent Blaine Conley.
Conley gave the construction update at the Tippecanoe Valley School Board’s meeting on Monday at Mentone Elementary School. The building is being constructed by the current one by Tippecanoe Valley High School.
“All the underground plumbing has been completed all the way up to the upper level,” he said. “The basement wall waterproofing is about 95% complete now. The backfill is about 80% complete.”
Conley said “steel is set down in the basement and the slab to the basement has been poured.
“We’re also waiting on the delivery for the floor trusses, but we received part of the lumber package today,” he said, adding that probably will be in place by the board’s August meeting.
