AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. announced its 2016-2017 registration dates and times for students attending any Tippecanoe Valley school – Akron Elementary School, Mentone Elementary School, Tippecanoe Valley Middle School or Tippecanoe Valley High School. Registration will be held at each school from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. At Tippecanoe Valley High School, students entering grades 11 and 12 are asked to register on Tuesday. Students entering grades 9 and 10 are asked to register on Thursday. High school students new to the district are to contact the high school office at 574-353-7031, Ext. 2420, beginning Tuesday to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be made for Aug. 1-3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. TVSC also offers an alternate online registration process for those who choose not to or are unable to attend either of the onsite registration days. This year, the online registration process has been updated to allow parents to use a snapcode, mailed to his or her returning student, which will fill in parts of the registration form with the student’s existing enrollment data. New students are required to register online. Visit www.tippecanoevalleyschools.com/enrollment to fill out the necessary paperwork for new or returning students. New students, including those entering kindergarten, are also required to attend one of the two onsite registration days, and those with questions are encouraged to attend as well. The first student day of the 2016-2017 school year is Aug. 8.
