Valley Livestock Judging Team Places 11thThe Tippecanoe Valley Livestock Judging Team competed at the state contest May 3. Team members have to judge 12 classes made up of beef cattle, sheep, swine and meat goats. They then have to give oral sets of reasons to a judge of why they placed the classes the way they did. The team placed 11th, one spot away from winning a trip to nationals. Team members were Shayleigh Shriver (top 10 in cattle), Sarah Tucker, Mallory Bowers and Sydney Petersen. The team is coached by Michael Jones, Tippecanoe Valley FFA advisor, and assisted by Kraig Bowers.
