Sweeping the singles courts, Tanner Neeley won 7-6 (7-4), 6-2 at No. 1, Derrick Cunningham was a 6-1, 6-3 victor at No. 2 and Isaac Shewman had his No. 3 match forfeited. Also for Valley, Lucas Britton and Willy Inglehearn won in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. The Vikings return to the court Wednesday at home against Knox. GIRLS GOLF Wednesday in Warsaw At Rozella Ford Golf Club Wednesday, the Triton girls golf team defeated Bremen and Tippecanoe Valley. On the par-35 back nine, Triton finished with a 215, followed by Bremen’s 220 and Valley’s 239. Triton’s Hannah Jennings was the medalist with a 48, while Valley’s low score was Alyssa VanMeter’s 55. Triton travels to Knox today for a Northern State Conference match, along with John Glenn, while Valley is at Sycamore Golf Club to take on Manchester, North Miami and Whitko in Three Rivers Conference play.
