MENTONE - The Tippecanoe Valley School Board voted against changes to the corporation's Joint Services Agreement at Monday's meeting.
The Joint Services Agreement, shared by Bremen, Warsaw, Wawasee, Whitko and Tippecanoe school districts, provides direct services to disabled students.
Changes proposed include dissolving the jointly-operated program budget into individual corporation budgets and limiting services because of the corporation's ability to provide for students locally.
Ratification of the changes requires a favorable vote from three of the five districts. Other districts are expected to vote soon and the Joint Services Agreement's fate should be known by week's end.
