Valley Invites Community To Anti-bullying Meetings

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley parents and the community are invited to a discussion of House Bill 1423: Anti-Bullying Law, presented by Tippecanoe Valley Middle School Assistant Principal Scott Backus. The first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 25 in the Mentone Elementary large group instruction room. The second meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 26 in the Akron Elementary School cafeteria. Backus will discuss the components of the new law, how they are being implemented at Tippecanoe Valley School Corp., and how parents, students and community members can help. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
