Valley Girls Second, Boys Fifth At Glenn Invitational

WALKERTON – On the strength of five event wins, Tippecanoe Valley’s girls track team finished second at the John Glenn Falcon Invitational Saturday. The Valley boys team won a pair of relay races on its way to a fifth-place finish.
Lexi O’Connell was a double winner for the Lady Vikings, taking the 200 dash and 100 hurdles. Sarah Tucker won the 100, Anna Walters the 800 and Mikayla Ruiz the shot put for Valley.
 On the boys side, the Valley 4x100 relay team of Gavin Good, Neil Clampitt, Jon Fields and Dakota Parker, and the 4x400 team of Clampitt, Good, Parker, Jared Mikel both won.
Valley and Rochester will compete at Triton on Tuesday.
