LIGONIER – Anne Secrest and Addy Miller had 15 points each and Brynda Krueger added 14 in No. 6 (Class 3A) Tippecanoe Valley’s 58-42 win over West Noble in the championship game of the West Noble tournament Saturday. The Lady Vikings bolted out to a 22-11 lead after the first quarter and didn’t trail the rest of the way. In the semifinal, the Lady Vikings easily defeated Lakeland 74-17. All 10 players who suited up for Valley scored at least four points and nine of 10 pulled down at least one rebound. Secrest was perfect in eight shots from the floor and five free throws for 21 points. Miller and Sophie Bussard added 11 points each. Valley (13-1) will host Logansport in non-conference play Tuesday night.
