Valley Falls to Knights

Posted
WABASH – Tippecanoe Valley held a 23-16 lead over Three Rivers Conference co-leader Southwood after the first quarter, but gave back all that lead and more and trailed 38-31 by halftime.
The end result was a 72-61 home win for the Knights that effectively ended any hopes the Vikings had for the Three Rivers Conference title.
Alec Craig had 21 points for the Vikings, with Jarod Duzenbery and Brandon Webster joining Craig in double figures with 16 and 12 points, respectively. Duzenbery also led Valley with nine rebounds.
Southwood had four players in double figures; Carson Blair and Blake Martz had 15 points each, Brandin Frazier had 14 and Alex Harmon added 10 for the Knights.
The loss left Valley at 3-2 in the conference, two games in the loss column behind Southwood and Maconaquah with four TRC games left on the Vikings schedule.
Valley will host Manchester Jan. 29.
