On June 12, members of the Tippecanoe Valley Dairy Evaluation team competed at the State Dairy Judging contest, where they evaluated six classes of Holstein cows and heifers and the junior team gave two sets of oral reasons while the senior gave four. The junior team, consisting of Lyle Haney, Harrison Burton, Eleanor Martin and Madeline Martin, placed third overall and fifth in oral reasons. Zoie Caudill competed as an individual and received eighth overall junior in the placing category. The senior team made up of Lillian Dunbar, Kinley Crabb, Abby Babbitt, and Temperance Caudill placed 12th overall team.
