AKRON - National School Bus Safety Week was Oct. 22-27.
On Oct. 22, the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. honored its bus drivers with School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. The drivers were invited to the bus garage prior to the afternoon pick-up of students to enjoy ice cream, pumpkin bars, apple cider and hot chocolate served by the transportation staff.
Photographs of the north-end and south-end drivers were then taken for the school yearbooks.
