Sixth-grade students from Kevin Lancaster’s class joined first-graders from Amy Swihart’s class at Madison Elementary School to do some Valentine math. The children used candy hearts to estimate, make groups of 10, compare using greater and less than and graph the data. Pictured are Hannah, Isabella and Airyana.
