ROCHESTER - Vada Conley, 70, of 3762 W. Old 30, Warsaw, and formerly of Rochester, died at 2:18 a.m. Aug. 1, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Mount Sterling, Ky., to Kelly and Sally Shepherd Shepherd. In 1956, in Athens, she married Wheeler Conley, who survives.
She retired from Camcar Textron, now Acument Global Technologies, Rochester. She attended the Living Hope Ministries and the Lighthouse in Warsaw.
Also surviving are two daughters, Priscilla (and spouse Jimmy) Nash, Warsaw, and Cheryl (and spouse Dan) Felda, Monterey; four sons, Terry Conley, Timothy Conley, Bart (and spouse Trena) Conley and Matthew Conley, all of Rochester; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and all her brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
