NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING STATE OF INDIANA KOSCIUSKO COUNTY SS: BEFORE THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA IN RE: THE PETITION OF LUCKY L. COMBS TO VACATE A PART OF A STREET AND ALLEY IN THE PLAT OF WOOSTER TO THE CITIZENS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY INDIANA YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a Petition has been filed with the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana, by Lucky L. Combs, requesting the vacation by ordinance of a part of an alley and part of a platted street in the original Plat of the Unincorporated Town of Wooster, more particularly described as follows: A. All of the alley lying between Lot 2 and Lot 3 in Block 8 in the Plat of the Town of Wooster, specifically beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 2, thence Northward along the West line of Lot 2 a distance of 115.5 feet; thence Westerly a distance of 16.5 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 3 in Block 8 in the Town of Wooster; thence Southward along the East line of said Lot 3 a distance of 115.5 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 3; thence Eastward 16.5 feet to the point of beginning. This description is intended to include all of the platted alley lying between the original plat of Lot 2 and Lot 3 in Block 8. B. A portion of Center Street lying North of Lot 3 and North of the alley to be vacated, described more particularly as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 3 in Block 8 in the Plat of the Town of Wooster; thence Northward 33 feet to the centerline of the original platted “Center Street”; thence Easterly along that centerline a distance of 82.5 feet; thence Southerly along the West line of Lot 2 in Block 8, extended, a distance of 33 feet to the Northwest corner of the original platted Lot 2; thence Westerly along the North line of Lot 3 in Block 8 to the point of beginning. This description is intended to include all of the South half of Center Street lying North of Lot 3 and North of the alley to be vacated, described in part “A” above. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana, has set the Petition for hearing at 9:30 a.m. on November 29, 2016, at the Courthouse, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. Any person may appear and be heard upon the Petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing and/or may send written comments or response to the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana at 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. After hearing, the Petition may be granted, denied or continued and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of said alley and street.
