US Marshals and the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force teamed up to investigate and arrest a Warsaw man Friday.

Terry Lee Sabo, 50, of 5985 W. CR 100S, Warsaw, was arrested Friday and preliminarily charged with felony dealing marijuana and felony possession of marijuana.

Friday morning, US Marshals went to Sabo's residence to interview him because they were trying to serve a federal warrant on Sabo's acquaintance and former roommate.

When the federal agents got to the home, Sabo slammed the door.

Federal agents then called the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department for help.

Kosciusko County deputies and drug task force officers arrived at the home, and Sabo allowed them to enter.

When they went inside the home, officers reportedly noticed a strong odor of marijuana.

After getting a search warrant, officers returned to the home and allegedly found a marijuana grow operation inside a back bedroom.

Officers also seized about $2,000 in cash, several long rifles and handguns and approximately six pounds of marijuana in a safe.

Sabo currently is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with a bond of $100,000. US Marshals plan to file federal charges against Sabo because he is a convicted felon and he reportedly was in possession of firearms.
