U.S. 30 Crash Kills Woman

A Warsaw woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. 30 and Parker Street Wednesday in Warsaw.

Pamela A. Butz, 53, of CR 400E, Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash where her white Jeep rolled over around 6:03 p.m.

According to the Warsaw Police Department, witnesses said Butz's Jeep was heading eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 before the vehicle went into the grassy median between the lanes of U.S. 30. The SUV went off the north side or the road, rolling over several times.

Butz reportedly was ejected from the Jeep sometime during the crash.

The accident remains under investigation by the Warsaw Police Department.

The Kosciusko County Coroner, Warsaw Fire Department, Multi-Township EMS, Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, KEMRAD, Indiana State Highway Department and Kosciusko County Fatal Accident/Crash Team assisted at the scene of the accident.
