Kosciusko County may not have anyone like a Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, but we do have the next best thing. We have Jennifer Arnold of Mentone, who much like Gov. Walker, has almost single handedly united the United Steelworkers with only a few letters. She has created a movement that has the local unions working together like I have never seen before. Only one person should receive this credit. I would like to thank Ms. Arnold for this. I'm sure that we will not have many non-voting union members anymore, she is without question solidarity gold.
She has shared with us her hatred for our God, Democrats, unions, working families, entitlements, insurance, vacations, pensions and just about any benefit that the American worker has earned over the decades. The benefits and good wages that most of us earn today were not given to us out of the kindness of the companies and the CEO's. Those benefits came from brave union brothers and sisters who felt like the owners of the of companies should share the wealth. Today we all enjoy the benefits that date back many decades ago.
Jennifer, in her great wisdom, also gave us a gift that will keep giving all the way to the next general election. She exposed the elected Republicans of Kosciusko County for what they really think of the average working person, union members, and Democrats. More than once she voiced her support for State Reps. Kubacki and Wolkins for their support of the now-dead Right To Work bill.
Her letters were heartless to the average working person, union members and those of us who believe in God. Her letters touched almost everybody in Kosciusko County in some sort of negative way, but I did not see one letter from an elected official in Kosciusko County disagree with her. Not one state rep., not one state senator, not one commissioner, not the mayor, not one elected official from the Republican party. I guess the current elected officials from the Republican party will accept praise from anyone, even Jennifer Arnold.
