The 2009 United Way Pacesetters of Kosciusko County were Anytime Fitness, Biomet, DePuy, Medtronic and OrthoPediatrics.
These companies got this year's fund drive off to a great start. With year-over-year increases in excess of 15 percent and total employee and corporate gifts exceeding $800,000, they illustrated what it means to live united, setting a fast and goal-passing pace.
As the month of November starts, the United Way of Kosciusko County finds itself in the peak of the campaign season. Multiple organizations are running internal campaigns and others have already concluded.
