Under The Microscope

Posted

The sixth-grade science students in Mrs. Watkins’ classroom at Triton Elementary School have been learning the different parts and functions of the microscope. They created homemade slides and viewed 22 different specimens in one day. Some of the more interesting ones were salt, sugar, coffee, fly wing, ant leg and a dandelion leaf. They also created a cheek cell swab and looked at the different parts of a check cell. Pictured are Lyda Scarberry and Kyle Chupp (pictured) learning about the microscope.
