WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. — Williams Baptist College sophomore volleyball player Emily Umbaugh, a 2011 Warsaw Community High School graduate, has been named to the American Midwest Conference all-academic team. Academic all-conference honors require the student-athlete to be at least in her second semester at the institution and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Umbaugh is the daughter of Randy and Kim Umbaugh of Winona Lake. Her sister, Hillary, (2007 WCHS graduate) is a fifth grade teacher at Leesburg Elementary and her grandparents are Terry and Bev Thompson of Argos. She played for the Warsaw volleyball team and the Warsaw track and field team all four years of her high school career.
