A Warsaw man and woman were arrested Thursday on meth charges. According to a Warsaw Police Department release, Thursday at 2 p.m., Warsaw Narcotics officers served two warrants at an address on CR 175E, on the north side of Warsaw, following undercover purchases from two suspects in May and June. Officers arrested Tanya N. Helser, 39, and Jim E. Waid, 34, both of Warsaw, and charged both with dealing methamphetamine, a class B felony. Both suspects were charged under the old criminal code (prior to July 1), and both were held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $5,000 surety bonds. Warsaw narcotics officers were assisted by the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
