Two Warsaw men were arrested Thursday afternoon on drug-related charges. According to a Warsaw Police Department press release, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Warsaw Police Department Drug Unit went to a mobile home at 920 Anchorage Road, Lot 107, Warsaw. Information had been obtained that illegal drugs were being distributed from that residence. Several traffic stops were made by Warsaw Narcotics team members and K-9 Unit linking the use of acid (also known as LSD) and marijuana. The two arrested were Nathan Ghrist, 32, of 920 Anchorage Road, Lot 107, Warsaw, and Emmanuel Robert Long, 22, 4330 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Ghrist was arrested for dealing in marijuana, a Class D felony; dealing in a Schedule I narcotic, a Class B felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana more than 30 grams, a Class D felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony; as well as neglect of a child, a Class C felony. Long was arrested for possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. Four additional warrants on other individuals have been filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office with potential other warrants to follow. Department of Child Services assisted the Warsaw Police Department in placing the children who were at the location with family members.
