Two Transported To KCH After Friday Night Accident

An adult male and adolescent girl were transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital Friday night after being involved in a two-car collision. Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory received a call at 7:46 p.m. Friday of a two-vehicle accident at Center and Eastlake streets in front of Burger King, according to Rob Barker, Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory battalion chief. Barker said the man, who was a passenger in the front seat of the vehicle, complained of neck and back pain and was extricated from the vehicle by Warsaw-Wayne Township Fire Territory employees and Multi-Township EMS. The girl, who was sitting in the back of the same vehicle, had a bloody nose and also was transported to KCH, Barker said. There was a driver and two passengers in the second vehicle and all refused medical treatment at the scene. Eastbound Center Street was closed for half an hour to clean up damage. Names of the individuals involved in the accident were not available as of press time Friday night.
