Police are still looking for two male suspects wanted in the alleged armed robbery of Richards Restaurant Sunday night.
According to the Warsaw Police Department, two Richards employees were leaving the restaurant around 10:20 p.m. with two bank deposit bags filled with an undisclosed amount of money. Two men then approached the employees, presented handguns and robbed them.
Though a detailed description of the suspects was unavailable from the victims, the two men are described as being both average height, weight, wearing dark clothes and masks.
They then fled in a dark-colored vehicle westbound on Commerce Drive.
Though Richards is adjacent to a Lake City Bank location robbed on March 10, WPD said the two incidents are unrelated.
The arrest of a man Sunday night on public intoxication was completely unrelated, according to police. The arrest came after the robbery was reported, but the individual was found to having nothing to do with the robbery.
Anyone with information concerning the robbery can give information anonymously by calling the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9515.
