TIPPECANOE – A call to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources tip line lead to the ticketing of two men fishing in Kuhn Lake. An Indiana conservation officer located and addressed two men fishing in Kuhn Lake who had overbagged – caught and kept too many – undersized large mouth bass and who were fishing without a license. Thirteen of the 14 large mouth bass in their possession were under the required size of 14 inches, and each fisherman is only allowed a total of five catches, according to the release from the IDNR. The officers issued tickets to the men. The IDNR encourages residents to report the illegal taking of fish and game to 1-800-TIP-IDNR.
