Two men were jailed Monday evening after a Warsaw woman reported that they and another male were fighting in her front yard.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department report, the 911 caller said that shovels and pipes were involved in the fight reported at 7:10 p.m. Monday.
Lance L. Bailey, 22, of 5785 Woodland Lane, Warsaw, and William Wells, 21, of 7264 S. CR 300E, Claypool, both were charged with battery and were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail and held on $250 bond each.
Charges also are expected against a juvenile male. The 17-year-old was released to his parents' custody, police said. The incident occurred in the yard of the juvenile's residence.
Bailey, who reportedly was struck with a shovel and a pipe by Wells and the juvenile suspect, was treated for his injuries at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released before being booked into the jail.
The fight reportedly began after a name-calling incident.
