Two Men Airlifted from Three-Vehicle Accident

Warsaw Police responded to a personal injury crash at the intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 250 N. at the Jalynn Street entrance to Wal-Mart and Lowe’s Monday evening.
The Kosciusko Fatal Accident Crash Team was called to investigate the three-vehicle collision due to serious bodily injury reported.
The Samaritan Helicopter landed at the scene on Jalynn Street and transported Ahsten H. Jackson, 18, Warsaw and Cecil Comadoll III, 38, Warsaw,  to Parkview Hospital North, Fort Wayne.
According to witnesses and the investigation, Jackson was northbound on Ind. 15 and had a red traffic signal at the intersection. Jackson’s vehicle slid into the intersection and collided with Comadoll’s, which was westbound on a green light.
The collision pushed Comadoll’s vehicle into the left-front of a third vehicle which was stopped southbound in the left turn lane.
Jackson, who was driving a blue 1997 Ford F-150 pick-up, suffered a fractured right femur. Jackson’s vehicle had severe front end damage.
Jackson’s vehicle had three juvenile female passengers who were treated at the scene by Multi-Township EMS and released after contact with parents.
Comadoll was driving a red 2005 Dodge Magnum operated. Comadoll suffered fractured ribs, a ruptured spleen and a collapsed lung. Comadoll ‘s vehicle had severe driver’s side damage.
The third vehicle was a silver 2011 Buick Enclave driven by Gerri L. Burk, 57, Milford. Burk and a passenger were not injured. Burk’s vehicle had minor damage.
The total damage is estimated at $20,000.
Drug and alcohol test results are pending. Injuries do not appear life-threatening at this time, according to authorities.
Warsaw Police were assisted by the FACT team, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, Warsaw/Wayne Fire, Multi-Township EMS, and Parkview Samaritan Helicopter.
