Snow-covered roadways contributed to this two-vehicle accident this morning that resulted in two people being injured. The driver of the van, Tawnya Momeyer, 32, of Winona Lake, suffered cuts to her head in the accident west of the intersection of Center and Market streets in Warsaw. A passenger in Momeyer's van, Cheree Kranzman, 10, Columbia City, suffered head injuries and complained of leg pain after being ejected from the vehicle. Both were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup, Gregory Demopoulos, 26, Winona Lake, was not injured. According to Warsaw police, Momeyer was eastbound on Center Street when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the center line and collided with Demopoulos' vehicle. He was unable to avoid the collision, which ended up in a fence along the roadway. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
