Two teenagers were injured in a crash Wednesday at the intersection of Winona Avenue and South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Around 3:45 p.m., a truck collided with a car at the traffic light. Both drivers said they had the right of way, according to a crash report from Warsaw Police Department. The driver of the car, Kayla Walls, 18, Peach Tree Lane, Winona Lake, was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with a neck injury. Ashley Walls, 15, Peach Tree Lane, Winona Lake, a passenger in Kayla’s vehicle, was taken to the hospital with chest pain. The driver of the truck, Bobby Roberts, 62, Claypool, was not injured in the crash. Damage was estimated at $25,000 to $50,000.
